A Twitter user was slammed for jokingly comparing incense papers left behind during 7th month to littering. He had posted a picture of joss papers on the floor with the caption: “Littering or praying?” and said: “You be the judge”.

He claimed he was criticising the amount of litter instead of taking issue with any race or religion.

Those who responded to his post told him not to take the joke too far or make fun of Chinese traditions. One guy even said: “we chinese can ‘litter’ and get away with it because we’re chinese. not happy? then suck it up. or maybe u can ask ur mom to pick up 1 by 1”.

The driver who plunged his car into the water at Sentosa has been remanded at the Institute of Mental Health.

He was arrested for his rash act and criminal trespass after being rescued from his submerged car.

Eyewitnesses said he cursed at people to die and might have been wanting to die himself. He reportedly also said a mermaid had asked him to do so.

This woman had been littering, sweeping all rubbish to the corridor, after being confronted by neighbour she spray insecticide at latter.police was called but mishandled the case.in June this year repeated dispute ended up crazy women threw soap water and shelf at latter door.

she grew even more violent after police inform her matter proceeding to court.this is rental HDB so NEA does not send penalities to people who dnt own the housing.she is aware there is cctv above but excused latter attack her ist.

A 39 year old man has been sentenced to 14 months in jail for stealing petrol and other drug related offences. The man, named as William Tan, is a driver with Uber and Grab, using a rental car at the time of the offences.

He was arrested by the Police on 23 May, after numerous reports of petrol thefts at Sengkang and Yio Chu Kang stations. Tan had apparently stolen licence plates of other cars, and placed it on the Toyota Altis that he was driving, to cover the actual licence plate of his rental car. He then proceeded to pump petrol and driven off without paying for the petrol.

Police have reminded motorists that failure to pay for the petrol they had pumped into their cars are tantamount to theft, and carries a jail term of up to three years and a fine.

A woman was seen kneeling in the middle of the street in an Aljunied housing estate, blocking vehicle and kow-towing to drivers while screaming incoherently about a little girl.

The incident took place near Block 113, Aljunied Avenue 2 on Tuesday at 8.30PM.

According to a passerby, the woman had gone to the middle of the road, then starting kow-towing on a pedestrian crossing before standing up to block cars from moving forward.

When an auntie tried crossing the road, the woman asked her if she had seen a little girl. When the auntie replied that she hadn’t seen any girl, the woman knelt down and screamed that someone had framed her.

The whole process lasted about 20 minutes. Although there were at least 15 people standing around due to the commotion, only one of the drivers approached her and another called the police.
