A 25-year-old woman has been arrested on 24-07-17 (Monday) after police suspected her involving in loan shark case in Seng Kang.

The woman set an HDB unit on fire. She also vandalised the walls of the units.

Reports revealed that the woman was a debtor and was later converted to a runner by the loan sharks. This is what loan sharks do “when you can’t pay them, you work for them”. She acts on behalf of the loan shark to perform harassment and threats to other debtors.

Another man was also arrested after spray painting graffiti at Telok Blangah area.

Both the man and woman will be charged in court.

A Grabshare driver shared his experience with an Ah Lian couple who kept scolding him and threatened to get him sacked because he could not locate their pick up point.

According to the netizen, Farhan, he picked up his first rider at Bishan before heading to a condominium at Jalan Peminpin Dr. 7. He turned into the condo and tried to locate his passengers, who were a pair of Ah Lians. Being unable to locate his passengers, he called one of the Ah Lians on the phone. The woman proceeded to scold him on the phone as she claimed that she had already sent the driver a text message.

When the driver finally picked up the passengers, he apologized for missing their message as he was concentrating on his driving. However, the women continued to nag at the driver and scold him even in the presence of the first passenger. The constant scolding made the driver so uncomfortable, he decided to tell the 2 Ah Lians to get down from the car.

After getting down from the car, the women continued to argue with the driver for more than 15 minutes and called Grab support to make a scene. The first passenger tried to end the fight by telling the driver to move on and take her to her destination. The Ah Lians then threatened that they would make the driver lose his job.

62-year-old man, Khong Law Swee was confined by drug offender Ho Chin Hin 57-years-old after he believed that Khong gave CNB the tip off for his drug abuse.

Ho was jailed for 9 months. According to reports, Khong is a wheel chair bound and attempted to escape by climbing out the window of the flat. The flat is located at Eunos Crescent.

After climbing out, he fell to the ground and died of multiple injuries. For drug related offence he is already serving a jail term for 5 years and 3 months now he will have an additional of 9 months added to his sentence.

Danny Chong the Uber driver picked up the pregnant woman and drove towards to hospital as quickly as possible while ensuring safety for the mother.

Half way through, the water bag burst and the baby was born 5 mins she reached the hospital.

Uber gave the mother $300 Uber voucher.

Here I am.. thinking back n forth whether should I post or not..? And of course, it takes lots of courage to speak up.. It is definitely not easy..

My ultimate reason for this post is a SHOUTOUT towards standing up against FAMILY VIOLENCE, PHYSICAL ABUSE and ADULTERY. This is definitely not a humiliating session.. This society protects women. Most of them suffer silently…

Don’t be afraid to speak up..!

I used to think by sharing all these are embarrassing and disgraceful.. How will ppl look at me..? How do I move forward? All these questions pop up over n over again.. People have been asking me..

What happened? Are u ok? And today, I made my decision to share.. I’m really grateful to the people around me.. Especially my family and frds who have been showing care and concern..

I knew this instructor when I sign up for personal trainer with fitness first. At first, he was a good trainer so I still sign personal lesson with him even when he resign from fitness first.

I still continue my training session with him in some gym call Dynamic Fitness. So that time we agree $90/per lesson(so which mean if there is no lesson done, there wont be any deduction). But I need to pay for 8 lessons first before he can take me as his clients. (As he told me he need the money urgently) So I paid him a total of $720.

I start having two lesson with him as I am very free and got time for training. But things start to go wrong when I start my new job. As I am busy with my work, I dont have time for training, which also means I still have
$560 balance(as no training lesson was done so there will be no deduction except for the two lessons I scheduled before).

Since the month before raya, he checked with me but I was busy due to the new driver job so didn’t get back to him and since then he didn’t check on me anymore. Right now, I have been chasing after him for the balance back in a nice and easy way but he blocked me in all channel. So I have come to decide to make this public and whoever are planning to take a instructor please look carefully at the person you are looking for.
