3 WAYS SINGAPOREAN CHILDREN GET “MURDERED” OF THEIR CREATIVITY!

We Kill Creative Intelligence By Making People Think in Inflexible Categories

In school, we are not really rewarded when we have a willingness to explore things in field beyond our own. We were instructed to stay within our field of studies with our diversity and if you were to choose a more wide-ranging list of subjects, that’s likely to distress your grades undesirably.

For example:

  • More doctors want to concentrate in a precise body portion, and less are glad to be general practitioners
  • More performers want to discover only one medium
  • More commercial students want to concentrate on a niche, like “only public relations” or “only administrative communications”

By the time University is over, our students come out knowing how to do exactly one thing. There’s no “fuel” for creativity, because their inadequate frames of locus don’t give them much to draw on.

We Kill Originality and Creative Re-Iteration with Fear

From a tender age, failure is not socially acceptable making us paranoid about failure. Coming from a conservative thinking, if something works once, rather than finding another way we were just do it again.

In school, we were told to follow and spin off model compositions that work that to come out with it ourselves. Even with public ventures or learning fairs. We would rather “reference” from last year’s winner and improvise on them. As our school system isn’t known for giving a good mark for something that fails even it is stimulating and diverse it might be.

We Try to Regulate their Understanding of their Own Prospect

Imagination might be one of the most delightful about humanity. We can see things in a different way no matter how messy our circumstances might be. Doing so requires practice.

The window of opportunity would grow smaller as we age making harder to partake in this practice. For example to say you want be an inventor when you’re at your 70s when you are in your teens.

Being Singaporean Parents at even a tender age, we would mold our children’s aptitude to visualize their own future. Limiting them with certain professions which can “make it” or fixed list of achievement that are acknowledged. We remuneration them for following to our vision of their future, and terminate their own visions as immature or ridiculous.

MMA FIGHTER TOOK ON THE GUARD THAT DID NOT ALLOWED HIM TO GO UP THE CONDO!(VIDEO)

Live from USJ ONE condo. MMA fighter took on the guard that not allowed him to go up the condo.

P.S. This guy came over the condo wanted to look for his fren to collect his debt. But the so called friend dont want to meet him or didnt come down to meet him. He asked the guards to let him go up the condo. The guards refused to let him go up. He got frustrated and argued with the small size guard. Then he took out his sweater and eager to fight the guard. He threw the first punched before any video was taken. He did not say sorry whatsoever after he threw the punched. They both kicking each other in between the incidents before he got tied.

After that, you can see most of the incidents in the video. The guards tied him up. He sat on the floor and cursed and threatened the guards for more than 15 mins. Boasting all his MMA and fighting abilities. He even told the police “that he is very active in the martial arts or muay thai(couple of years for this n that). But he chose not to fight the guards further.”

The CCTV recorded everything according to the management. This is a clear cut incident without framing anyone or fake captions to get attentions.

NETIZENS SHARE DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR OF ‘TABLE CHOPPED BY TISSUE’

I hope u will be able to share this post… I am a Singaporean myself but was too disgusted by what had happened to me…
I was at McDonald’s Bugis Junction close to lunch time today… was trying to find a seat to have my meal but the indoor area was full… then i got no choice but to proceed to outside area to continue finding a seat… look what i saw… all the tables in the shade were chopped by selfish people using kopitiam cards and name cards!

Totally disgusted by actions of locals! Shouldn’t it be on a first come first serve basis? If want to do this kind of thing, at least get a clown to seat at the tables…

OLD MAN FIRED AFTER TAKING ONE DAY MC. HELP IF YOU CAN!

A 55.-year-old man that is having multiple conditions was terminated by his company after taking 1 Day of MC.

Mr Isah is a father and has conditions such as diabetes, kidney, blood pressure and hypertension medical conditions. He was working as a cleaner, last year he took 1 Day MC because of his conditions and the company that hired him decided to terminate him.

Read the full story below:

Mr Isah, 55 years old, is a father to three children. His youngest child, 20 years old, has just finished his education and will be enlisting into National Service this August. Mr Isah suffers from kidney failure, diabetes, hypertension and high blood pressure. Due to his diabetes, three toes on his left foot and one toe on his right foot were amputated. Mr Isah is unable to work due to the condition of both his feet and the severe side effects he experiences after each dialysis session. Mr Isah goes for dialysis three times a week and after each session he experiences fatigue, vomiting, headaches and the inability to consume food.

Mr Isah informs us that he was retrenched late last year one month into his job as a cleaner. After going for his usual dialysis session, Mr Isah suffered severe side effects including dizziness and vomiting. Due to Mr Isah taking one day MC to recuperate, his company decided to terminate him.

Mr Isah has to depend on his wife who is also working as a cleaner. Being the sole breadwinner, Madam Zainun has difficulties providing for the family as the income she receives as a cleaner is insufficient to support the family. As such, Mr Isah and Madam Zaitun has arrears with the Housing Board. Receiving very limited financial support from his family and relatives, Mr Isah worries about the future.

ROHI has raised S$250 a month for four months to defray Mr Isah’s groceries expenses.

ROHI aims to make a difference to individuals and/or families, to help them on the path to becoming self-reliant so that they can gradually get back into their usual routine. ROHI helps our recipients raise funds through Simply Giving. Our Founder and Board of Directors cover the administrative and operating costs of ROHI so that your donation is 100% efficient and goes directly to the recipient. If any money is collected in excess of the target, it will be channelled to other recipients

IS OUR MOBILE PLANS EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO OTHER SOUTH EAST ASIA COUNTRIES?

0

Having been back from Thailand, it just seems to me that our phone plans are ridiculous. I could get 12gb of 4g data for less than 35 bucks, but its over 200sgd for a 12 gb data plan with M1.

What gives? Is it because all our mobile telecoms are one huge ass monopoly? Hell, what’s amazing is that even if you use up your data, they give you a data plan at a significantly reduced speed, but you can still do whatsapp.

Down here, they start charging you 1 extra gb the moment you exceed by 0.1mb
