I am living at Blk 435 ,Jurong West. St 42. About 5yrs back we had water leakage in our common toilet. As our ceiling in the toilet got terribly damaged and the leakage traveled to our kitchen ceiling and cabinets and ceiling lights were effected we alerted the HDB about it.
It was then concluded after HDB staff spoke to the above neighbour to share the cost of waterproofing and changing of tiles and repairing of tile for the top floor neighbour’s home.
An agreement was done to split the repair cost for toilet but due to the fact the damage portion of their toilet was more we wanted them to pay more. They didn’t agreed to it and sold their house within a couple of month.
With the new neighbour renovating the home, we assumed that the contractor would do the necessary waterproofing. With that we decided to do the essential repair work for the kitchen lights and painting.
At 2016 Oct, dirty water started to drip from the top level into our toilet. We consulted HDB which they send Melvin to check with one week. After a few weeks later they found leakage and told the above neighbour to solve some of the issue over there.
After a couple months with the leakage not stopping, its was a confirm leakage and we have to share the cost of repair work. After that there was no conclusion. We stay in the ground and we won’t have any neighbours to share the cost.
Hossain Farhad, 24 was sentenced to two weeks jail for repeatedly molesting a 20-year-old student.Inside a lift at the Rochor MRT station and near the station’s staircase landing he was charged with molestation of the female victim between 1.45pm and 2.13pm on Aug 31 last year.

When he was caught in the act, Hossain rapidly hurried away while pretending to use his mobile phone. Ultimately he was held by the victim and her friends who informed the police to get him arrested.

Today I brought my 3 years old daughter went in MRT. This woman sit on reserve seat and meanwhile my daughter tells me she is tired and wanna sit down (actually is almost her nap time). I asked this woman very politely and gentle: can you give up your seat for my daughter? She replied me :NO!! Why should I give up my seat ? I’m shocking with her replied coz I didn’t see she pregnant.
I said: but this is reserve seat. She replied me: yes, but this seat is reserve for old folk not for kid. I told her: thank you, this is 1st time I have met people like u. She still can show me her attitude and replied me thank you. After that she turn to her friend and said: nowadays the kids is really problem, so small already demanding!
She is very mean and heartless . Her words really hurt me. She can blame my daughter. Then I asked her: then what’s the meaning for the picture. I pointing the picture behind her. She said: that is baby, but ur daughter is kid. She already know how to walk y she need the seat. I said: you mean 3 years old kid don’t need to sit down inside MRT. She replied me: yes, even my kid I also not allow them to sit inside MRT. after that her friend step in and stand in front of me. The friend said if ur kid tired u should bring ur own stroller, not asked for the seat here. My husband asked her, are u pregnant?
This reserve seat should be reserve for someone who need the seat. The friend replied with bad attitude: maybe??!! My gosh, I’m carrying my daughter during the argument but they still can throw this kind of words to me. I told my husband never mind, god will blessing. They told me yayaya, god will blessing but we have different god. Some more they still can said: got kid don’t bring out lah, got kid let them sleep at home don’t bring out. I’m thinking how this 2 adult and treat a kid in this way???!!!
I’m up sad and angry, why sound like my fault to bring my kid out for family day? During the argument, 1 of the old man seem like 60 plus 70 years old wanna to give up his seat to me coz he seeing I’m carrying my daughter with my both hands hence unable to hold on to the handle firmly and stand there throughout without seat. But I refuse to take up the seat coz I know the old man need the seat more than me.
I feel shameful for this 2 woman who is able, even the old man can give up his seat to me but they still thinking they are right. My husband took her photo but she keep using her HP to cover her face. She also took down our photo we didn’t even want to cover coz we are not in the wrong. This Is really sad and bad experience that a selfish and inconsiderate person exist. They made me feel my fault to asking a seat for my daughter. And some of the people don’t understand a 3 years old kid may not want to seat in baby stroller most the time preferring to sit with parent.

After years of misery and torments, today marks a new chapter of my life ever since my marriage for the past 5 years…… Looking forward legally to be a free man 3 days from today on the dissolvement of my marriage. Leaving behind nightmares through the ordeals I had suffered.
Non would wish when they commit their wedding vows, would have to face tormenting experiences from the other half. It saddens me to realised people who committed their vows, betrayed the significant of marriage.
Today I have to attend a court session to dissolve my marriage. Who will expect when you had given sacrifices and love to uphold a marriage. Deem as a fool for loving someone who only returns with deceits and betrayals.
When you got to find out that your wife is having an affair and using sub cards to fund and enjoy a lavish lifestyle for herself and her boyfriend. When all your money in the bank has depleted and chalked 6 figures debts she had incurred under my name.
I even had to make a police report on misdeeds she committed. As a man, I had to overcome nearing bankruptcy and lossing hope in life. Fought very hard from the thoughts of commit suicide and mental suffering with the help from family, friends and colleagues. Bringing myself up with new motivation in life to strive on and persevere through the hardess point in my life.
After years of battling for the divorce, she was found pregnant and the child is due late July this year……. Most man whose wife is pregnant with the other man’s child will be devastated, but for me it’s a blessing.
I am fortunate to find out about her misdoings earlier rather than suffer if we have a child of our own. Which her own act assisted to expedite in the legal proceedings with evidence for her adultery.
There isn’t any shame on the wrong choices I had made and I embrace my mistakes.
I bear no hate for her but only to be brave and accept my life’s wrong choices and loving the wrong woman whom I accepted her wholeheartedly. I only have sympathy for her teenager son, her unborn child and her playboy future husband of her unborn child for soon will be her 3rd marriage.
All thanks to her, I am made a stronger person who overcomed these adversities and to cherish the people who love and care for me.
Sincere apologise to my family & friends, whom are worry about my situation.
Deepest appreciation to all who are there for me during my darkest time.

Help! Our dad, Low Ah Kay, went missing since 6 July. The last we know, he told his friends he was going to pick durians and left on his motorbike (Honda Wave FBE8161R). He has mild dementia and stroke condition. We have driven around the Tengah forest area but to no avail.
