BAN HENG @ THE CATHAY TELL CUSTOMERS “DONT WANT TO EAT ASK THEM TO GET LOST!” (VIDEO)

Dear singaporeuncensored,

My family and I was at ‘Ban Heng’ @ The Cathay on 14/5/17 6pm celebrating Mother’s Day. After we settled down on our tables, we decided to place our orders with one of the staff (A). We told them that we would want our soup to be served later and surprisingly she gave us a intense reaction which is totally unnecessary. At around 10 minutes later, the soup was served to us by another staff but we told her nicely that we told the other staff (A) that soup to served later. Than, staff (A) saw and she came over to our table speaking in Cantonese “aiya, other customer always order together with soup, why they want to get it served later?”. She than left our table with a sarcastic look.

After our 5th or 6th dishes, there is one commotion coming from the other table. It was a family of around 5-6 with an old granny who had difficulty walking (serious hunchback). The lady was asking the staff that why the staffs in Ban Heng is not clearing their used plate or neither serving them new plates. She added on “Why must i have to pay for service charge than?”.

So, she insisted that she would like to see the manager. However, the manager was still walking around in the restaurant acting like nothing had happened. Than, when the manager and staff were beside our table, we heard the manager saying in Cantonese “don’t want to eat ask them to get lost”. It was really shocking that someone as a manager would actually treat customer this way and what kept us in awe was that she actually said this in front of her other customers. Finally, the manager decided to slowly walk over to their table with an ipad on her hand.

The manager than asked the lady “So, what happen and how?”. The lady customer was explaining to her what happened just now and the manager did not even make any eye contact with the lady customer and her eyes were glued to the ipad all the time which i find it very rude. After around 2-3 minutes of talking, the manager than walked away with a “Get lost” hand gesture and told them “byebye”.

After a few minutes, the family stood up and made their way out of the restaurant. While walking out, 2 of their family members raised their voice in the restaurant stating that “This is not how the way you treat customers in F&B”, “We will definitely post it in Social Media Ban Heng”, “Look at how they treat their own customers”, “What type of service is this?”, “Look at your internet Ban Heng!”.

The last 2 sentences was recorded in the video. Upon that, the manager was actually smiling and shaking her head which i find it super insulting. I really pitied the old granny as everything was being spoiled by this dumb manager on Mother’s Day.

Ban Heng really has a serious attitude problem and a really lousy service. Yes, sometimes customers may be demanding, but as a manager, she should solve the problem but not creating more problems by complicating the matter further by chasing customers out from their restaurant and moreover, there is a old granny happily waiting to celebrating Mother’s Day with her beloved family. A good role model must be set to all the staffs in the restaurant. I will never patronise Ban Heng ever again given with the attitude she had set.

I had attached the video and the picture of the manager in the email. Thank you!
Best regards,
Amanda

FAITH IN HUMANTIY RESTORED: MAN PAID MEDICAL BILL FOR MIGRANT WORKER SUFFERING FROM ASTHMA ATTACK!

It’s my first time encountering this helpful act. I’ve always believe that singaporean will always help out needed people, even thou they are foreigners.

We all know bangladesh is a very very poor country. Thousands of them work in Singapore just to earn eunf money to send home for their family memebers, or their wife to feed the kids.

So today, this bangladesh came to the clinic to see doctor on his asthma attack. He came during his work hour with his dirty clothes and shoes. Nobody knows he have no money or having financial difficulties.

His turn to see a doctor. Doctor took quite awhile to see him. After that, doctor came and told me to cancel his visit and give him a memo to A&E with no charge of consultation and memo fees even thou doctor had seen him and advised him.

So i go ahead and proceed, and accidentally read his memo as i need to get doctor’s signature. And then i told doctor, it’s even more expensive for him to go A&E. Doctor asked if there’s any other alternative to help this man or not. And we came out an alternative together. By right we can’t do this, but by left we can’t let the man to go off like this. What if anything happen while he is on his way, then how?

So we gave the man this alternative which is, we will go ahead to proceed the nebulizer for him, end of day he have to pay whatever amount he have with him, and owe the remaining fees first. When he have eunf, then come back and pay the remaining.

When i was telling him this in english, he don’t understand what i’m trying to say… Just right, there’s only 1 indian paitent in the clinic. So i’ve asked him for help to translate indian language to that man so he could know what we are planning to do.

He didn’t translate on behalf of me, but he asked me what happen to that man. And i told him the situation. And he surprised me by saying, “it’s okay, i will pay for his bills just let me know how much. And get him a inhaler for his asthma.”

Doctor and us (colleagues) are shocked and surprised on this indian paitent’s action. I mean, not everyone will help a stranger financially. The bills is not cheap thou. $80 over dollar!!

It’s a good deed on mother day!! 💪🏼👏🏼 this man deserve a shoutout for his helpful action. He is actually saving his life!!

We do have kind people on the earth. Bangladesh worked very hard for sg. They died for us, they work hard to build a shelter for us. We should learn to appreciate them. ❤️ No harm doing good deed ☺️

BEWARE! GIRL BOUGHT LOCKED IPHONE FROM CAROUSELL! GUY MIA!

Bought this second hand iphone off Carousell from the user ‘chenlee89’ and turned out he handed me an icloud locked phone. A phone like this would also mean it is totally useless.

When I met up with him, I did not take a sim card along to test the phone.

I simply only made sure it could be switched on. It shows that we cannot be too trusting because there are still scammers like him out there. And i also did not know that you need to insert a simcard to test for the icloud lock function. So after going back home and inserting the simcard, i realized the problem. Called him on his phone but he did not pick up at all. When we parted, he still told me i could call him if there’s a problem.

Texted him over Carousell and Whatsapp but he read my messages and did not reply. After many hours of messages and about hundred of calls, he finally replied saying he was working and only will end work few more hours later.
He will then go home to check his iTunes password with his laptop. I waited again. Anyway, which job don’t allow you to pick up calls in so many hours and why he can read my whatsapp but don’t reply?

I started having doubts about this person. When it was time, i messaged him again and as usual, his reply was delayed again saying he just finished work. I was really fed up and ask for a refund. This guy then blocked me off his Whatsapp. I then proceeded to file a police report online.

Really hope the SPF will do something about such a person asap. Most probably think i’m some young girl and easy to bluff. According to his facebook, he should be living at West Coast area.

BEWARE! GUY TOOK OBSCENE VIDEO OF LADIES! CAUGHT IN MRT!

I am sending you a video that I had recorded on 13th May 2017 Saturday at 7.40pm. This was recorded a minute or so after I boarded the train at Outram mrt and was heading towards Harbourfront. This guy quickly plonked himself on the seat opposite mine though it wasn’t as if the train was crowded and he had to race to get a seat. I was seated in the 2-seater located at the far ends of the carriage. He then proceeded to whip out his phone and I think the rest speaks for itself once you view the video.

The dumbass didn’t realise his folly obviously. I stayed calm when I made my own recording of him but understandably lost it afterwards when confronting him over his actions. The mrt staff were most helpful and the SPF arrived at the scene within minutes. Upon further investigation this chap was found to be in possession of similar videos though I am told they were obscene in nature of unsuspecting victims. Obscene videos of other girls taking the local transport without them being aware they were being recorded.

This man’s name is Suraj. This *ssh*le holds an employment pass. I would appreciate your assistance in highlighting this episode to the public in general to serve as a deterrent for other such *ssh*le . I hope others (not just targeted victims but even bystanders) always remain aware of their surroundings and are never afraid to speak out against such happenings.

He was quick to delete the videos or pictures he had taken of me. He insisted to the police that it was a new phone and that he had probably accidentally recorded me. Since there wasn’t any evidence the police informed that he could only be given a stern warning. I requested that they check his phone texts and phone gallery for an idea of how long he really had the phone in his possession by looking at text and picture date details.

That’s when they found the other videos. They seized his phone immediately and he spent the next hour panicking trying to apologize and get his phone back. The last thing he said was I was like his sister.

EH AUNTIE! SEE OLD MAN STILL DON’T GIVE SEAT?

These photos were taken last week, I’m really quite shocked at this! Look at these few people occupying the reserved priority seats. And no one even offered to give up their seats for him. These few middle aged passengers noticed the old aged man stand in front of them.

But yet, they still pretended that they did not see him. And the situation continued like this for the whole journey for 20 minutes to an hour. I got really angry about this kind of behaviour. There were a few times, I saw that old aged man almost fell in the bus whenever the bus came to a stop. Next time I’ll try my best to be brave and ask for a seat for those people who are in need.

BEWARE OF NEW SCAM NOW DELIVER TO YOUR DOORSTEP

New scam in sg..

This scam is actually very cleverly worked out that you will not suspect of anything wrong:

The following is an account of the incident.

《Wednesday a week ago, I had a phone call from someone saying that he was from a company called: “Express Couriers,” He asked if I was going to be home because there was a package for me that required a signature .

The caller said that the delivery would arrive at my home in roughly an hour. Sure enough, about an hour later, a uniformed delivery man turned up with a parcel and a bottle of wine.

I was very surprised since there was no special occasion, and I certainly didn’t expect anything like it. Intrigued, I inquired as to who the sender was.

The courier replied, “I don’t know, I’m only delivering the package.”

Apparently, he said the sender would want to give you a surprise and a card would be sent separately… , it happened that my birthday was on the way also, so we thought could be from a distant friend. There was also a consignment note with the gift.

He then went on to explain that because the gift contained alcohol, there was a $7.50 “delivery/ verification charge,” providing proof that he had actually delivered the package to an adult (of legal drinking age), and not just left it on the doorstep where it could be stolen or taken by anyone, especially a minor.

This sounded logical and I offered to pay him cash. He then said that the delivery company required payment to be by credit or debit card only, so that everything is properly accounted for. He added they also don’t carry cash to avoid loss or likely targets for robbery.

My husband, who by this time was standing beside me, pulled out his credit card, give to him to swipe the card on a small mobile card machine with a small screen and keypad and asked to key in the verification code.
Frankly at this point we never suspect anything ad normal and a receipt was printed out and given to us, he then wished us good day and went off as normal,

To our horrible surprise, between Thursday and the following Monday, $5000 had been charged/withdrawn from our credit account at various ATM machines.

Apparently the “mobile credit card machine,” which the delivery man carried had all the info necessary to create a “dummy” card with all our card details, of course with the verification code.

Upon finding out about the illegal transactions on our card, we immediately notified the bank to stop payment, but already too late.

We went to make a Police report, and was confirmed quite a number of households had been similarly hit.

WARNING: Be wary of accepting any “surprise gift or package,” which you neither expected nor personally ordered, especially if it involves any kind of payment as a condition of receiving the gift or package. Also never accept anything if you do not personally know or there is no proper
identification of who the sender is.

Above all, the only time you should give out any personal credit card information is when you yourself initiated the purchase or transaction!

PLEASE Pass this on, it may just prevent someone else from being swindled.

PREGNANT MOTHER DIED ON MOTHER’S DAY AFTER GETTING HIT BY LORRY

Mother’s Day is supposed to be a day for celebration for mothers, but unfortunately, one would-be mother loss her life after an accident, and she would never have the chance to meet her daughter.

Ms Goh Chieh Ting, who was pregnant with her daughter for six months, was crossing the road with her mother-in-law on Saturday morning when she was hit by a lorry turning out from a carpark. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, but her premature daughter was saved by doctors who performed emergency caesarean on her. The baby is reportedly healthy.

The lorry driver, a 46 year old male, was arrested for causing death by negligence. Doctors should be praised for saving the life of the baby girl, but unfortunately for the daughter, she will never meet her mother.

SG LITTLE GIRL WAS LURED INTO WATERWAY POINT PLAYGROUND TUNNEL AND BEATEN UP BY A BOY

Little gal was at  waterway Point playing in the indoor playground since 5.30pm with no issue or what so ever.

With my wife sitting at the sidelines watching her play. Out of the blue she started crying with that my wife watched her getting out of the hole crying to a granny close by with her signalling my wife to find her.

My girl told my wife while crying loudly that she was tricking into the hole and was afraid and alone wanting to go back. When she reached home and calmed down, she claimed she was punched many time and wacked by a boy inside the hole.

As my wife tried to extract more info, she became afraid and started to tears again and keeping her mouth shut. Every time my wife wanted to ask she will start crying. I guessing she was quite affected by the incident.

I wasted no time to went house upon informed by my wife of the incident and took them back to the indoor playground hoping to find that boy. But to our disappointed when we reached there at around 9plus pm he wasn’t there. My daughter remained tight lipped refusing to reveal anything when more info was question about the incident.

She was able to re-enact the incident at the playground claiming that was 2 boys outside of the hole, one wearing white t-shirt and blue shorts assaulted her. My wife did recall a skinny boy who was a head taller than my daughter wearing white top & blue shorts who wished to approach my daughter before they left the place.

A police report was required before any viewing of CCTV recording is allowed by the Waterway Point management. Though I went to lodge a report at the police due to my daughter being too afraid she was able to answer any question by the police officer and advised was given that we went back for a check-up of wound to extract more info before lodging a police report online.

Our intention is not to blow things out of proportion and get the boy arrested. We just wish that his parents acknowledge and teach him not anyhow use physical violence on other people and not let similar incident to happen to other kids in the future.
