LOCAL DJ JAMIE YEO: UNITED AIRLINE VICTIM DAVID DAO SHOULD ACCEPT APOLOGY AND MOVE ON

I just heard Jamie Yeo of Gold 905 saying something very disturbing about the doctor who was forcibly removed on United Airlines. She said that unlike government ministers who have sued for defamation when their reputations are attacked, Dr David Dao should just accept the apology and move on.

Why is she even comparing the government with this case? In her eagerness to ingratiate herself with the government she has forgotten that Dr Dao was physically hurt and humiliated in front of many people. His reputation has also been ruined by people who have dug up information about his past convictions and posted it on social media. United Airlines initial “apology” was not even sincere and Dr Dao was even labelled as being “belligerent”.

Why should he accept United’s apology and move on? If Jamie Yeo or her family and friends were abused and embarrassed in this manner would she not take legal action.

I was even more disgusted when she went on to mention that Dr David Dao had a “shady past”. His past has nothing to do with this matter at all and the airlines staff did not even know about his previous transgressions when he was booted off the plane forcibly. Jamie Yeo, who has been divorced twice has a “shady past” too. Wasn’t she the 3rd party that broke up Glenn Ong’s marriage and her 2nd husband is a fugitive wanted by the police for drug offences?
