A friend of mine went for an interview for a job recently, and felt something was amiss when interviewers started asking questions and seemed to miss out on bits of his experience at last company.

The CEO (AMDK) apologised, then tried to offer the friend a job ON CONDITION THAT he does not go to MOM.

Friend is thus caught in dilemma.

A Malaysian Chee Tian Hao and two others were put on trial after challenging Singapore’s system. They tried to smuggle a Bangladeshi national who overstayed in Singapore.

It is a serious offence to leave Singapore illegally.

All 3 were sentenced to jail and the overstayer got six months of jail with 5 strokes of cane.

Here is a statement made by ICA

“Our borders are our first line of defence in safeguarding Singapore’s safety and security. The security checks are critical to our nation’s security,” it added.

“We will continue to conduct security checks on passengers and vehicles at the checkpoints to prevent attempts to smuggle in undesirable persons, drugs, weapons, explosives and other contrabands.”

There was a fire that broke out this early morning at Ang Mo Kio Hub, affecting the storeroom of the Samsung Experience Store at the basement level. The fire was put out by the mall’s sprinkler system and a water jet by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel.

Lucky the fire was a small one, happened in a mall where no one was in at the time. Could have been something much worse.

Singapore has one ugly side “reserving” table with a packet of tissue. I see no reason for me to entertain that packet of tissue and I feel embarrassed when foreigners ask me why can’t he take the seat.

I am appalled at the recent cases where men have been caught for engaging in upskirt and voyeurism. Yesterday carried news of a man in Tampines taking upskirt photos of ladies at a overhead bridge. Then there was this foreign talent who placed his mobile camera in the toilet to catch his female colleagues doing their business.

Now, news report emerged of a wife who had to turn in her peeping tom husband to the police. Apparently, the husband was taking videos of the wife’s friends in bathrooms! He had crushes on two of his wife’s friends, and decided that it was ok to film one of them in her own bathroom, and took another upskirt photos of another while she was in his car! He also took videos of the second woman using his home toilet! What kind of sick pervert is this?

What is happening to Singapore? Are men getting more sick and perverted?
