Last night a street performer got arrested at Orchard Road because someone reported the busker’s performance as a public nuisance.

The incident happened around 9.50pm last night. The police arrived at the front of Takashimaya and approach the performer and were to handcuff the performer in front the crowd of audience.  The performer was happy and shouted at the police.
A passerby named Eric was unhappy and told the police to back off. The police warn that he can be arrested for obstructing the police’s duties.

Unhappy at the treatment he received from the police officers, Eric took to Facebook to express his unhappiness and to shame the officers.

While some netizens supported Eric and accused the police officers of abusing their authority

With a valid licence to perform, sergeant sim handcuff street performer while I was at the traffic light junction. I heard the police handcuff saying he’s a public nuisance and shouted at him. He wasn’t shouting at him. He only raise me his voice to fight. Police abused his authority to even challenged to handcuff me as well when I spoke up in front of the crowd. Public witnessed the whole incident at 9.50 pm on 11/3/17 in front of Taka.”

I would like to post up a story of how a Rich family Boy/bastard scammed off my money and most probably several others too. he is a friend that I’ve known for more than 4 years, though we do not catch up very often but we still keep in touch frequently.

My friend SHANAS is from a single child family and has a job in Eva Airline. job scope is either a pilot or an air planner. recently, this friend of mine SHANAS contacted me very often and always asked if I would want to lend him SGD$3000. his reasons for the money, was that he had his funds stuck in overseas, additionally, his dad was hospitalised, therefore he would urgently need to retrieve these funds urgently. after a few conversations, SHANAS also added that he would use the funds inclusive of mine to do some investments and would return SGD$3200 after 2 weeks.

He quickly grabbed our baby and told all of us to get up and run.. so i grabbed my keys and all of us rushed out of our home.. Still in sleepy yet panicking mode,

I quickly called the police and police officers, scdf and town council officers came and checked our house and told us this type of case is handled by hdb as this is due to flooring, not gas pipe explosion or what.. Meanwhile me and family were advised not to enter the kitchen as its very dangerous because high chance the other side of the kitchen might crack also..

And just now morning at 830am one of the hdb officer called and said that he will be coming on Tuesday to check my kitchen floor?!! Like seriously?!! My kitchen floor is still having this cracking sound and half the floor keeps popping up and hdb can still delay?!! For goodness sake i have kids at home and one of them is a toddler who like to crawl and walk around the whole house!

And so as usual i have to be the “bad one” making a big fuss, scolding and nagging then hdb decided to come and view my house today. Pfft! What type of service is hdb giving me? What if suddenly the whole kitchen collapse?! What if my son accidentally went to the kitchen and it collapse?! What if something bad really happen?!

I tried to walk to the toilet and when i step at one of the tiles IT CRACKS EVEN MORE!!! Why cant hdb sees that this type of situation is Very DANGEROUS to me and my family?! Why cant hdb think of our safety at home since this happened like out of a sudden?! You want to wait until something terrible to happen then u will rushed to this type of emergency cases is it?
