A fire had broke out at Chinatown Point on Sunday (05/03/2017) afternoon.
Smoke can been seen in the shopping mall, fire fighters are at the scene and shoppers had been evacuated.

According to a private hire driver, a Caucasian foreign talent dressed in white shirt and blue jeans suddenly kicked and caused a dent in his car while he was driving past the man.
Shocked and angry, the driver came out to confront the Caucasian, who then punched the driver in the face, causing a deep cut and bleeding. While trying to retreat to his car to call the police, the aggressive foreigner continued to go at him.
Another punch from behind caused another deep cut on the Singaporean driver’s face.
Fellow Uber and Grab drivers subsequently stepped in and restrained the man, who was trying to escape in another vehicle.
The Singaporean driver had to go to the hospital for treatment and stitching on both the cuts to his face.

A taxi driver caused a scene at the A&E taxi stand at about 12.30AM yesterday.
“At CGH A&E Taxi Stand, 4th Mar 2017, 0030hrs. As a taxi driver, if u dont want to fetch patients from the hospital, then dont even drive in. Simply alight passengers then drive off. The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) was alerted of a suspicious parcel on  Friday (03 March 2017) which they suspected to contain 136g of cannabis.
26 years old SG student used a fake identity for buying cannabis online.
CNB searched his home and found more drugs and drug paraphernalia including cannabis in vegetable, paste and powder forms, as well as 11 pieces of LSD stamps.

I feel that the 30% price increase is going to impact the people more than a 1-2% increase is GST. The reasons why I would think so is not on the surface but something that affects the whole chain from production, transport to sales and deposing of it. The product life cycle is greatly affected.
The Coca-Cola is made in Singapore. One of the obvious ingredients is water. This is the first step where a major terror might happen. Washing of the cans(involves water again) before filling it up with Coca-cola. I believe the cans are then washed again after filling up with the drink.
The can of Coke is now transported to warehouses for storage. Guess what. The vehicle needs water for coolant and water for washing.
Another vehicle now transports and distribute the product to markets, shops, and coffee shops etc
You bought a can of Coca-Cola from a Coffeeshop. Obviously, you will be served with a clean cup with ice.
The clean cup needs to be clean with you know what. YES! You’re a smart one.
Ice is made of… again.
Washing the cup after you finish. yes yes yes no need to say.
Probably missed out one part. The aluminum from your used can is recycled and WASH again. Which affects the whole cycle.
Ok by now you should know why I’m saying increasing of water price by 30% is potentially more scary than increasing of GST for 1 – 2 %. I probably missed out parts like companies taking this opportunity to increase the price even further for higher profits. Eh

The coffee shop down my block told me that drinks including coffee and can drinks such as Coca-Cola will start to increase in price after June due to the 30% water price increase in July.
I asked the uncle why like that. He said Bo Bian govt increase they also follow.Making the Kopi need water so does washing the cup. Water for the ice machine and etc. He said that govt mention that price of will increase over two years. I might as well increase that 30% now.
Eh 70%. FU*CK U
This means everything will increase since it involves water.

PAP government say increase water 30%… but they just take our money and waste water.. I passed by at 4+pm already like this (water hose was spraying water), 7pm come back to do delivery again.. the problem also not solved..
With this 3 hours of wasted water, does the government know how many households it can support? We will has a answer for this waste of taxpayer money and precious water.
