BEWARE! DO NOT PUT YOUR EZLINK TOGETHER WITH CREDIT CARD! I GOT DOUBLE DEDUCTION!

Hi everyone pls take note when taking bus or mrt ride. I kenna deducted bus/mrt fare from my uob credit card. When calling customer service staff, he can’t tell me which bus or mrt station for the fare deduction. I told him I didn’t use my credit card for any bus mrt ride. He say this trans is from my uob paywave.

If I didn’t use it, I have to report to police. I say in the first place I didn’t even consent uob to activate my card for use in any transport ride. I tell him I want to opt out. He not very helpful say it is much easier if I do it myself over at the mrt machine. Kudo him. Now if my wallet got ezlink card and uob card.

It is possible that both my cards get deducted for my bus mrt ride. He can’t answer my question. Kudo him again. So u all better be careful if your debit or credit card are together with ezlink in same wallet.

I received this msg from someone kena conned by UOB. How true does it be?

HONEST KL DRIVER RETURNS SG MAN HIS LOST PHONE. I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES

I lost my phone in KL. I couldn’t call the driver obviously because my phone was in his car. I had to rush to the hotel, and in room on my computer, then went to reception. That was the only way to contact the driver via my account which lists the last car I took.

Then realised that I needed to borrow the hotel receptionist’s phone so that there is a number to ring back. Uber then linked the driver’s phone with the new number I gave as a ‘pair thru’. After which during the communication, the driver indicated that he found the phone by the floor in front and that he will drive back to my hotel after he drops his next passenger off. He refused any monetary compensation instead just askinng me to rate him 5 stars. I was so so grateful at his honesty.

But I didn’t give him 5 stars in the end. I gave him 6.

EX-NTUC CEO CLAIMS HALIMAH HAS POOR FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE TO SAFEGUARD COUNTRIES RESERVES

<Facebook post by Tan Kin Lian>

Dear Mr. Tan,

I was reading the ST today when the cover page says that the only candidate who automatically qualifies is Halimah and the other 2 are subject to the committee’s approval. But let’s look at it like that:

Halimah became Speaker because Michael Palmer resigned after his affair was exposed. The point is this: the skills required to be Speaker is not so difficult because even a practicing lawyer can take on this role as a part-timer. Moreover, he was only a partner at a larger middle-market firm.

By contrast, both Salleh and Farid have archived greater things but setting up their own companies and growing them into large ones that are worth $200 million or more. Surely, this is a much more challenging job than to become speaker?

The fact itself is that there are thousands of lawyers in Singapore but only less than half of them who could manage a $200 million company. So my question to you is: do you think this the prescribed criteria is fair? I am asking you this because I am sure you understand where I am coming from.

REPLY

I agree with your sentiment. I also feel that Halimah Yacob does not have the financial knowledge and experience for the responsibility of looking after the reserves.

MAN WARNS NOT TO TAKE UBER AS THERE IS HIDDEN FEES

I strongly advised not to take uber services, as from my receipt showing here very clearly that this fare was unreasonable, unacceptable and unfairness for users, because that is a hidden fare apply even my trip was an advanced booking almost over-night, I make my booking on 20 August 2017, at around 2000hrs, for my next day journey from Choa Chu Kang Crescent to Thomson Plaza, while at the uber app show fare for my journey was around $17+, when reached my destination,I was asked to pay a fee of $30.60,

which has increased of a serch charge of $11.48, at times of my booking that was not showing to me, before I confirm my booking, and this was really unfair and unacceptable,

And as from my return trip, which using normal taxi at peak hour that night, from Thomson Plaza back to Choa Chu Kang Crescent which the same routine and my taxi fare was just $20 buck only, so here I strongly advised stop using Uber, because they has hidden costs apply with that really unreasonable and unacceptable and unfair.

Please do help to sharing it out as many as you can, if you agree this this unfair, unreasonable and unacceptable.

CAT ABUSER CAUGHT KICKING CAT AT HENDERSON (VIDEO)

Caught the Henderson cats abuser. Bodoh peh ahpek! He kicks the cat while it was sleeping then he went to take that solid square metal object and throw directly at another cat. It hits the cat making a ‘thump’ sound. That’s when my husband realised this ahpek was trying to hurt the cats.

My husband quickly grab a hold on him…asking him questions and at the same time called the police! This is not the 1st time he did this to the cats in Henderson.

Been caught many times by other residents but they didn’t report the matter because they pity him due to his old age. Watch the video how he plead asking for chances upon chances to let him go!
