Chew Teck Chiang shared a lift with a 16 year old student on the way down the block on a school day morning around 6am.
After the 16 year old schoolgirl entered the lift. Chew asked if she was going to school. She simply replied “yes”. He used his left hand to touch her a** and pinched it. The girl was scared and ran out of the lift the moment it reach the 1st floor.
When the girl reach school, she shared her morning trauma with her teacher which lead to police report and the arrest of the man.
Molesting underage girl only $3000 fine? He could have gotten caning or jailed.

On 26 January, we rescued a community dog that had its leg caught in a suspected wild boar trap. These traps are not only cruel, they are illegal. Wild boars, or any animal, caught in the traps end up suffering very painful and debilitating injuries which may result in death.
Luckily, we managed to get to this dog in time, thanks to the good hearted people who alerted us to the dog’s plight and our dedicated rescue officers who made multiple attempts before finally catching the elusive dog.
While slightly wary of people, he has been slowly warming up to the staff who have been caring for him and tending to his wound. We are glad he is recovering well and that, in this case, he will probably not be losing his leg. Other animals caught in traps have not been so lucky.

Budiman Tarmidi, got charged yesterday for touching a 15 year old girl at a mini mart and attacking his ex-girlfriend 9 days after molesting the girl. This guy is the worse.
Not only he molested the girl. He followed the 15 year old home and asked for her name. He entered the same lift with her and started groping her butt a few times. The helpless girl could only endure until the lift door open so she could run home and tell her family. The family reported it to the police and a week later he got arrested.
On the same day he had to go to court for the molesting case he attacked his ex girlfriend violently. He said that it was his ex-gf that told the police of his whereabouts leading to his address.
The incident happened on the 8 of June where he approached his ex girlfriend on Jurong East Street 32 Blk 371. Budiman only stop attacking her after Rinadiana’s(ex-gf name) friends appeared .

As alot of turtles & tortoises are protected, AVA have only 2 approved species which are legal to buy & keep in Singapore. They are the Red-eared Slider (Terrapin) and the Malayan Box Turtle.

Alright. So my mom has a boyfriend which stays with her Until recently where he moved out.
It was because my mom had been chasing him for money as he has been staying at her house for free. Bathe, eat ,sleep. Everything for free!
He claims that he do not has a single cent but he could afford a pack of cigarette everyday?
He always goes home drunk and would start a fight with my mom and even hit her at times
Even when they broke up he still continued staying there.
So instead of paying rental, my mom told him to pay for the maid which was $550/ month. He did not pay a single cent at all and told his friends that he paid everything in the house blablabla. And up till today, she did not even receive a single cent and he moved out saying that he don’t owe anything

My mom told me that she got a call from a person that claim that he is from Standard Chartered Insurance. The person had my mother’s NRIC and name! The shocking part is none of my family members have any credit card/loans or deposit accounts with Standard Chartered. He told my mother that there is a new health care insurance scheme from Standard Chartered which cost only $120 a month.
She also claim that after signing the insurance contract for 24 months she will be given a ticket for two and five night hotel/resort stay at Maldives. My mother got curious and ask how the process of getting the plan.
The person started saying that in order to be eligible for the free holiday she have to pay 24 months in advance. The person told my mother that she can meet up with her to discuss more the insurance scheme at a Macdonalds near my home.
My mother got skeptical and passed the phone to me. Initially, i was thinking that it must be another scam call from some unknown PRC person. To my surprise the person spoke good English and was able to share more about different health benefits after signing up the package.
I asked him how would i make payment for the insurance plan. He said that due to this brand new promotion is to attract more customers to Standard Chartered. I have to pay it in cash. Immediately i knew that this insurance plan was too good to be true and i told him no way i am going to sign up a insurance plan by paying cash. He told me its possible to sign up via Western Union transfer.
“HELLO YOU FROM STANDARD CHART NEED ANOTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO DO MONEY TRANSFER YOU MUST BE THE MOST DUMBEST SCAMMER”
After shouting at him that he is a scam and i will report him to the police. He hang up the call. Moments before he hang up the call i could hear hokkien voices in the background.
Please inform family friends that there is this new scam going around!!!!
AVA have put down chickens that had been wandering unreservedly around Thomson View and Blocks 452 to 454 Sin Ming Avenue, in the wake of accepting grievances about the commotion they made.
The chickens were most likely from the adjacent forested territory, the chickens put to sleep were not the red junglefowl, which look like chickens and have been recognized as a jeopardized species.
“The chickens are altruistically put to sleep, as movement choices are not accessible in land-rare Singapore,” said an AVA representative yesterday.
