ICA will start collecting images of your eye ball from 1st of jan 2017. This is an additional detterent for protecting the IDs and identifying Singaporeans.
Iris images will be collected during NRIC registration and re-registration and during the passport application or renewal process.
Selected Sing Post employees will be authorized to enroll iris images at selected Sing Post outlets for NRIC registration and re-registration.

I think it quite unfair to say with the package offered by Certis CISCO of monthly salary of basic 2.6k per month and air-con accomandation. With overtime pay for at least 12 hours of work a day and attractive bonus and health insurance that Singaporean don’t want to work
With the joining bonus of $2K and completion bonus of $2k, I think it personally quite attractive and plus the air con living would have cost another additional $400-$600 a month. Given that amount to the Singaporean of $3k basic a Singaporean who work in security line would take the offer up.

Tin was upset over LGE (Let’s go Europe Travel) 100% northern light promises. Tin had booked a tour with SA travel somewhere in early October 2016. Unknowingly, they sub-contracted the whole tour package to LGE travel which we only realized later on during their briefing.
During the whole 12 days tour in December, they make no effort at all to maximize our chances of seeing the northern light despite there is several days of good weather with clear sky. Eventually, many of us did not get to see the lights and have to return back to Singapore feeling extremely disappointed and upset over LGE empty promises.
Several of the tour members have tried posting several times on their Facebook pages but was taken down immediately. Also, they have blocked off their review column as they received too many complaints. Please think twice before signing tour with empty promises! What they promised, they did not deliver in the end!
This is the kind of drivers we have? No wonder the recent muar accident has caused the death of many. This is the reason why we die. People like this who have no care for others and only cares about his own pleasure.
All bus drivers should always be on the alert. Not only his life is on the line, all the passengers life depends on him. Please report any inappropriate actions done by bus drivers or taxi/uber/grabcar drivers.
A pervert got caught by his own doing. While installing a hidden camera at a woman’s toilet seat. He accidently started the recording early.
A woman discovered the camera while using the toilet and took the device away. The device has a inbuilt SD card which allowed the woman to see the face of the pervert. The woman took the video evidence to the police and the police were able to track the face of the pervert after cross referencing with potential suspects from other reports of peeping.
The more a person tries to portray himself as a gentleman the more likely the “beast” has been trapped in the guys heart. Ladies, Be careful who you trust.
During a recent police operation against the infamous Geylang gambling district. A total of five plain clothes police was on the scene. Shortly after arresting a 18 year old “promoter” for the gambling tables.
The police was faced with 100 unhappy gamblers that wanted the police to release the young man. The police had no choice but to pull out his gun to fend off the big group of aggressors.
The 52 year old man told the police that was on the scene ” lai la shoot me” he challenged.
His name is Ho Wee Kee, he was part of the 100 man crowd that wanted to speak up and challenge Singapore’s police. The 52 year old was charged in court and jailed for 8 months. The charges are as follows
on 24th of July 2015, at 9.45pm. Five police from Geylang Police Centre was on duty to patrol against vice activities. The policeman saw an 18 year old young man standing there and promoting passerby to join the gambling table. The location was between Lorong 14 – 16. (Related Post: Singapore Gangsters)
The 18 year old suspect was arrested after trying to resist and retaliate against the five police man.
The 100 geylang people started to get closer to the policemen, while shouting profanities and gangster gestures. One of them flipped the gambling table and took a metal part from the table and started swinging it around to catch notice of the Police.
The officers was pushed to a corner, the sergeant that was in the team had to pull out his gun and point and the aggressive crowd. He did not place his finger on the trigger but the laser of the weapon was on. Hoping to prompt the crowd to disperse.

Shafiq Harun who was returning to Singapore from his Kuala Lumpur had some surprise installed for him on the coach bus.
After boarding the bus for approximately 40mins,The back of his neck starting to itch initially he thought that it was just a allergic reaction from the material of the seat. To his surprise he found bed bugs on the seats and the back of his neck was swollen.
The worse part of this incident is that the 25 seater coach had bed bugs on other seats too!

Looks like Rui En has once again violated the traffic rules. In her BMW, she was in a lane where only right turn was allowed. Her sudden change to lane two almost cause an accident with another car.
