EXPIRED APPLE SLICES SERVED TO CUSTOMERS IN MACDONALD. MANAGER STILL WANT LIE

“I call McDonald’s and the manager Jessica can happily tell me her colleague noticed the Apple slices was expired at 11am today and they discard the entire box. But when I question them if they discard at 11am. How come I am able to get the expired Apple slices at 1155am? It does not make sense.”

“The manager continued to lie and said that her colleague put aside the two Apple slices & gave out to me by Mistake.

“When I told her she was the one who did the packing for me and why she did not check. She quickly apologise and attempt to brush me off by offering to deliver 2 packets of fresh Apple slices as replacement. I did point out to her that it would be dangerous if it was given to a child.

“She will be delivery the 2 packets of Apple slices to me in 30 mins. I have yet to file a report to NEA but do have the intentions to bring this matter to them”

ALREADY PARK ILLEGALLY STILL WANT SHOW TEMPER AND BE ANGRY.

I am driving a shuttle service which needs to pick up n drop off at Tampines MRT. I saw this guy park his car and I stopped behind his car .

I continued dropping off and picking up passengers on my bus. When I am done, I sounded the horn to let the driver shift the car. The driver came out from Mr Bean stall and making a fuss. I reminded him that double yellow line is not for parking but only to pick up and drop off and he told me who am I to tell him this rules as I am only a company driver.

I hope LTA put camera along at Tampines Central 4 to prevent all this to happened.

NETIZEN CLAIMS THAT MALAYSIANS GETTING PR AND EP PASS DESPITE BELOW THE SALARY CRITERIA!

Hi all,

I am not sure how long this scene of Malaysians getting special benefits from MOM (to get EP below the salary criteria) has been going on, but it has definitely been around for at least 3 years.

I know this because my Malaysian ex-colleague in my previous company, has been holding onto her EP (renewed before too) for 3 years despite drawing lesser than the required salary, as stated on MOM’s website.

When I first got into my previous company, the boss was certainly very confident that he would be able to get me the EP with just paying me $2400. Initially I doubted him, as that was not to my knowledge and it was not openly stated anywhere on MOM’s website about this. However, when the EP came, I checked the application form which my ex-boss has filed to MOM for my work visa, and he did not lie to MOM about the salary that he would pay me monthly. It was indeed reported to MOM as 2,400, and it was approved. It came as a surprise for me, but according to my ex-colleagues, who happen to be mostly Malaysians, it was the same for them.

I believe that this may not be applicable to other nationalities.. as the Indonesians in the very same company I have mentioned above had to be under S-Pass instead. I even tried checking the self assessment tool just like the user who opened this thread, and my qualifications warrants an EP and S-Pass, whereas an Indonesian with exact same qualifications would only be able to get a S-Pass only.

Hope that this helps to give a clearer insight… Sorry if I’m reviving an inactive thread, but thought I would just like to share this information. :) Anyway, peace out.

IT”S YOUR ABILITY NOT YOUR DEGREE THAT WILL STOP YOU FROM LANDING A GOOD PAYING JOB! AGREE??

It is unbecoming to see students from different faculties putting each other’s degrees down and trying to make themselves seem superior – because there is really no such thing as “elite faculties”. The notion of elite faculties arises when people think that being from a certain faculty will entitle them better-paying jobs, which is honestly untrue:

I have friends from FASS now working in FMCGs drawing a starting salary of 4.5k/month and engineers working in banks pulling in $7k/month. At the same time my peers from law are finding it extremely difficult to even secure internships, much less associate positions due to the glut of lawyers these days. So really, it will be your ability rather than your degree that will hinder you from landing a good paying job.

GUY FOUND A MYSTERIOUS AMULET IN HIS PILLOW WITH HIS PHOTO.

Long story short, woke up this morning to find an object in my pillow. It was a white small package, wrapped with multi coloured thread and sealed with a wax stamp that had a star on it.

Opening the whole thing up was tough. it felt like layers of adhesive paper one on top of the other. when i finally managed to open it up, i was horrified to find a green piece of paper with what seems to be arabic text written on it.

but the horrors don’t end there.

included in the package was a very recent photograph of me, and what frightens me the most is only three people including me have that photograph. The other two are close family members that have told me they have no idea what’s going on.

Circumstances dictate that there is no logical answer to this puzzling mystery. There have been answers ranging from a good luck/safety charm to someone girl trying to curse me.

What do i do? Do i dispose of it all? Do i keep it? thanks in advance for your help guys.

Edit : Thanks to someone at r/translator , it would seem that the note was some kind of a safety charm to ward off evil spirits written in arabic. So i’m relieved for myself at the moment.

In the meantime, i’m hoping to get some answers from a person at a mosque to find out who might’ve done this and why. As much as i’d like to think some loved one would’ve done this for me, my family is very pious when it comes to religion, so im doing my head in wonderng if they would actually have to turn to Islam for this?

But thank you all for your helpful(and hilarious) replied.

ZOO IN CHINA THROWN LIVE DONKEY TO BE FED TO THE TIGERS?!?!?

At a zoo in China, a live donkey was pushed into an enclosure with three tigers to be killed.

Recording taken by an observer at the park shows the petrified animal holding on before being pushed into a trench adjoining the big cat complex.

Donkey was then pounce on by a trio of predators.

Despite the recording been cut off while the animal is still active, it is stated that the donkey was slain. The last clip is of the donkey struggling back against the tigers in the water.

One person said: ‘I have no problems if it happens in nature, that’s how nature works, but in this case, it is just animal abuse.‘And no, it is not necessary for their health, this is just a bad excuse for the sick show.’

Another said: ‘A donkey dying to tigers in a natural habitat – natural. An alive donkey being thrown into a cage full of tigers – sadistic.

FT WOMAN SHOUT AND PUSH PASSENGER IN MRT. REFUSE TO GIVE SEAT TO ELDERLY

I wanted to highlight that even though the morning peak period commute can be stressful, passengers should not take the stress out on others.

This Filipino woman boarded the train and started shouting and shoving away people to get to the middle of the train. Even though the middle was already full, she pushed away people just so she could stand near the middle pole. This is very uncivilized behaviour.

Then she rushed to sit once a seat became available, even though there was an elderly gentleman behind her. All the time muttering about how people are stupid and can’t make way for her.

This kind of selfish behaviour is reprehensible. Public transport is a shared commuting tool, if you stand the crowded trains then don’t take it during peak period. Don’t make others as miserable as you are.

**PS I know people should move to the middle of the train and sometimes they don’t. But the train was already very packed. This woman started pushing people aside so they all siam her.
