Netizen has posted a picture online claiming that a man ran away after reaching the destination.
It is unclear how the taxi driver got the 11B of the passenger.
Taxi drivers work hard to bring you to your next destination safely and to support their families. Please be a good citizen and pay without breaking the law.

According to ICA’s Facebook page, there is a new scam on the rise.
“SCAM CALL ALERT
It has come to our attention that members of the public have received calls from “+65 6391 6100”. The caller claimed to be an ICA officer and requested for funds to be transferred to rectify discrepancies in the personal information that they had provided to ICA.
We would like to clarify that these calls were not made by ICA officers. ICA does not call members of the public to transfer money for such purpose.
Members of the public are advised to take the following precautions when they receive such calls:
• Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions; and
• Do not transfer any money via remittance agencies, banks or any other means to the caller.”

Notice by Singapore Cancer Society
We would like to address a flyer that is being distributed in Singapore, and directly to homes, in the name of Singapore Cancer Society. We state that this particular flyer offering “health check up on women” is in no way related to the cancer screening services provided by our Society.
Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) offers free pap smear screening and mammogram to eligible women (by appointment) only at our SCS Cancer Screening clinic located at the Bishan Junction 8 Office Tower. Besides the SCS Cancer Screening Clinic, SCS partners selected licenced General Practitioner clinics island-wide to also offer pap smears at no cost during campaign period
We have since lodged a report to the Police and relevant authorities.

You might be exposing yourself to man in the middle attack when you connect to free WIFI network in public places. As hacker can pose a free WiFi network by using his own phone as a hotspot luring you to connect to it as a result of it your personal files, phone and credit card details are all hijacked.
In a survey conducted by Cyber Security Agency of Singapore 6 out of 10 respondent connect to public places WIFI network even though they are unsure whether the connection is secured. 1/3 of them would even conduct financial transactions and online purchases on the network.
This would result that your sensitive information could be accessed by hackers to be sold on the Dark Web, a part of the Internet which is often used for unlawful activities and hard to access
Warning to all : Do not patronise this Heng Joo goldsmith at blk 453A, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-84 or something inside the market. Only when I threatened to call the police for assistance than he suddenly remembered the weight of the traded in gold!! Traded in old 916 gold at 1.3xx grammes. The goldsmith paid only $33 for them, citing it’s old gold and have to pay processing fees! RIDICULOUS TO THE MAX. I went to ask at another goldsmith and was told that the traded in gold will be priced at around $44 per grammes for 916 gold. And the spring hooks dun appear to be new as the spring seems used before !
He is a big cheat!
Did not want to issue me any receipt citing that normally he do not issue receipt for repair works??
In replacement, I change 2 new gold spring hooks at weight of 0.74grammes each. Costing $65 each??
Cheated my money, but never mind. ..money can earn back. I must warn everyone about this person! I am totally furious about this matter!! I will be lodging a police report on this.
I want everybody to know that this is a ‘black shop’. Dishonest and cheater and I believed he has cheated several old aunties and uncles of their money by using this method too.
