Facebook user Phyllis Sim shared in a post about how her neighbours upstairs hired a company to perform aircon servicing and resulted in water leaking and dripping into her unit.
She said that she shouted for the contractor to stop and the contractor then shouted back at her and told her that she “did not stay in a condo”.
Sim then went up to the unit to tell her neighbours that her home is being affected by the leaking aircon unit, but the neighbours said that she can’t speak Chinese and as such, couldn’t tell the contractor who presumably only speaks Chinese, to stop.
The OP then called the aircon company to tell them about what was happening but the staff transferred the call because she couldn’t speak Chinese either and can’t communicate with the contractor.
The contractor then came out of the unit and argued with the OP and the police were later called in after the contractor allegedly got aggressive and tried to slam a bucket on her sister.

This company came and did servicing for the neighbours a couple of floors above us. We did not have any laundry outside and yet the water got into our kitchen and onto our laundry being hung indoors.
We shouted for the serviceman to stop and he shouted back rudely to us in Chinese and told us that we did not stay in a Condo. We went up to the unit to tell the residents we are affected.
The residents said they could not speak Chinese. So, we called the air-con servicing company to inform them of the situation.
A lady picked up and transferred the matter as she could not speak Chinese to communicate with the service staff.
The service staff came out and continued to argue with us without any single apology. We called the police in as his body language got aggressive and he attempted to slam a bucket on my sister.
