I had always thought my marriage was relatively smooth. We were both workaholics and I encouraged her to follow her passion. She enjoyed talking about her work and was ambitious.
Eventually, the company she was working at was acquired by an MNC. And shortly after that I found her behaving weirdly. Initially I would dismiss it as added workload but then we started growing more and more distant. She was also not interested in getting intimate with me.
That’s when I found out she was cheating on me with a coworker. I even went down to their office and saw it with my own eyes. My wife was sleeping with her colleague.
To cut the long story short, we eventually filed for divorce as she felt we were no longer compatible. And my cheating ex stayed on with him. So it has been quite a few years since, almost a decade.
Recently, I saw her boyfriend. I will never forget him because of the humiliation he made me suffer. But he was holding the hands of a pretty lady that was not my cheating ex. I was laughing to myself because my ex wife had recently posted on social media celebrating her birthday with him.
She must be in the dark about him cheating on her. Isn’t it funny? Life comes a full circle. She finally got her karma.
