Chee Soon Juan recently stated in his Facebook video on how he intends to pledge 50 percent of his MP allowance to build up a trust fund to help the people in his constituency.

He even said that he would work full time at Bukit Batok instead of some office in Shenton Way. He was even gracious enough to said that he would never do any personal attacks during this political contest.
He went on record and said that he would take a portion of his $16,000 monthly MP allowance to start at a trust fund to help the lower income households in Bukit Batok.
