Chinese Wellness Brand Launches S$45 Million 24-Hour Spa Mega Complex In Jurong East

A major new wellness destination has quietly begun operations in Jurong East, with a Chinese spa operator unveiling what is set to become one of Singapore’s largest round-the-clock spa complexes. Located within Perennial Business City, the expansive facility represents an estimated S$45 million investment and is being rolled out in phases.

When fully completed, the development is expected to span a floor area comparable to roughly 7.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools. According to reports by The Business Times, the operator has indicated that the complex will be the largest spa of its category in Singapore.

The project will unfold in two stages. The first phase, occupying approximately 49,000 square feet, is slated for its official opening in mid-March. A second expansion phase, adding about 50,000 square feet, is targeted for completion later this year, subject to regulatory clearance.

Hot Springs, Salt Therapy & 24-Hour Wellness Facilities

During its soft launch, selected “core spaces” have already been made accessible to visitors, with additional zones progressively opening over the coming months. The spa’s website showcases a broad range of facilities, including hot spring-style soaking pools, steam rooms and professional massage services designed to cater to Singapore’s growing demand for premium wellness experiences.

Distinct gender-specific features have also been introduced. The women’s section includes a salt therapy room lined with Himalayan crystal salt, while the men’s zone features a mugwort herbal room — both designed to promote relaxation and purported respiratory benefits.

In a bid to differentiate itself in Singapore’s competitive hospitality and lifestyle sector, the complex goes beyond conventional spa offerings. Plans include a cinema lounge and an esports room, blending wellness with entertainment in a 24-hour environment. Certain amenities, such as a potential mahjong room, remain under consideration and have yet to be officially confirmed.

Expansion Plans Across Singapore

The operator has ambitious plans to expand further within the city-state. According to reports, at least four outlets are envisioned across Singapore, with each location measuring no less than 50,000 square feet. Each branch is expected to adopt a distinct theme, positioning the brand within the premium leisure, luxury lifestyle and integrated wellness market segments.

As Singapore continues to see rising consumer interest in health optimisation, spa membership programmes and high-end relaxation experiences, large-scale developments such as this signal strong investor confidence in the wellness economy. Jurong East, already a growing commercial and retail hub, may benefit from increased footfall and tourism-driven spending as a result.

With 24-hour operations and a diversified entertainment concept, the new spa complex aims to capture both late-night crowds and daytime wellness seekers — marking another milestone in Singapore’s evolving hospitality and lifestyle landscape.
