CLARK QUAY HAI DI LAO SUSPENDED BY NEA AFTER SELLING ‘DIRTY FOOD’

The Clarke Quay branch of the famous hotpot eatery HaiDiLao has been suspended for two weeks by the National Environment Agency (NEA).

As indicated on NEA’s site, the branch at 3D River Valley Road had gathered 12 demerit points in the past 12 months.

Six points for the treatment of food with uncovered hands and another six points for serving dirty food.

HaiDiLao was additionally fined S$800. The suspension is from Feb 10 to Feb 23.

All workers that handles food in the outlet will be required to go for Basic Food Hygiene Course and pass again before they can continue to work and handle food,
