Hi, I was having dinner today 2 April at 73 Toa Payoh Lorong 4 with my cousin at around 7.30 pm – 8 pm and I had an unpleasant experience with one of the cleaners.
It’s a short white hair female. As we were finishing up our Tze Char about to go to the toilet as it was urgent she approached us and shouted at us and say we must take our plate back in a rude manner. She assume we were leaving.
So I asked her why the group before us sitting at the table on our right which I noticed was made up of only adults didn’t have to clear their table? She replied me because they ordered curry fish heads and we only ordered 2 dishes. So I paused for a while and then she showed anger and said never mind and went to clear our table.
I would like to know if there are such guidelines or did the cleaner make up as such. Is it that because the group ordered more expensive stuff like curry fish head and we ordered only 2 dishes we have to take the empty dishes back ourselves?
We can understand if she is a short-handed bit at least she could ask nicely and we could consider.
My cousin attends church there and we regularly patronise from the Tze Char shop. We have church friends who eat together and we have return our cutlery in the past. I feel really disappointed with her attitude
