CLEARING OWN PLATES IN HAWKER WILL NOT DEPRIVE CLEANERS OF THEIR JOB

A survey for Singaporeans regarding public hygiene has been done. Almost 50% of the Singaporeans thinks that cleaners will lose their job if they clear their own tables after the meal.

But Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment disagree with their opinions. She said that the help of cleaners will still be needed for the overall cleanliness of the hawkers.

A campaign is targeted to be launch to encourage diners to clean up the table after use.

There will be some potential hazards like used tissues, used utensils all left on the table after use instead of clearing leaving danger for people clearing it especially during this pandemic now.
