The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums has increased in the latest bidding exercise on the 19 Aug 2020.

The prices of all categories increased except for motorcycles. The open category that can be used for any vehicle type increase from $36,502 to $38,110.
The COE for commercial vehicle increased as well from $24,100 to $25,006 The only category that sees a decrease is for the COE of the motorcycle from $7,701 to $7,432.
The increase in COE price is mainly due to the announcement of a smaller quota available from Aug to Oct. A total of 18,626 COE will be available between Aug to Oct which sees a drop from 19,055 that was for Feb to Apr.
