COMFORT TAXI DRIVER DIES AFTER TAXI CAUGHT FIRE AT SELETAR WEST LINK

According to the media release, A 58-year-old taxi driver has died after his taxi caught fire at Seletar West Link. The incident happened early today in the wee hours. (31 March 2020).

The Police were alerted of the incident at around 1.26 AM.

SCDF was on the scene trying to put out the taxi that was on fire.

The 58-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.

According to a spokesperson at Comfort, the driver suffered burns was found at the side of the driver’s seat.

Investigations are ongoing and the cause of the fire is currently unknown

The fire is being investigated by SCDF and the police.
