Close to 400 Comfort taxis will be installed with plastic shields to ensure social distancing between drivers and passengers. This would be on a trial basis.

This trial will see taxis fitted with a plastic sheet called V-shield which will surround the driver. And estimated 50 taxis will be installed every week.
V-shields are manufactured by Moove Media which is a subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Corporation. The V-shield is made of “unbreakable” plastic which will be able to protect drivers from violet physical harm.
It also comes with two openings to facilitate payments on board.
