Walking down ,the Lau Pa Sat,Robinson Road and Cecil street, made me reminisce about years gone by,and saw the development that has taken place in The Financial district of Singapore.

And what really saddened me was seeing the rubbish, like tissue paper, empty drink cans, and papers, left on the seats of this bus stop and also strewn on the ground.

This is not the CBD area , I knew, where roads , pavements walkways and bus shelters were always well kept and clean, free from the rubbish , I saw today.

We always had, Keep Singapore Clean, campaigns, and that became part of our pride, being Singaporeans. The sight ,I beheld made feel really sad, thinking,

where are we today?

Hoping the campaigns will comeback, and maybe paying fines for littering will do the trick.
