CONCRETE BLOCK FALLS FROM THE 11TH FLOOR IN TAMPINES. ALMOST INJURE RESIDENTS

A concrete block crashed down from the 11th floor, almost hitting residents which left many of them terrified.

The incident happened at the HDB block of 162 Tampines Street 12 at 3pm on the 12th of July.

A resident who was pushing his bike home heard a loud crash sound behind him that shocked him. He stated that if it happened seconds earlier, it would have hit him. The incident left that man terrified.

The concrete block shattered into a dozen pieces after hitting the ground. The shattered concrete was only cleared at night. The metal rebars in the concrete was clearly visible after shattering on the ground.

It was believed that some of the cars which were parked in the vicinity were damaged due to the incident.
