Facebook user Steffy Tab recently took to Facebook after she was scammed by a curtain contractor. She stated on how she lodged a police report and filed a claim against the company and won. But she still felt that he won’t return the money.

Customer of Rich Work Trading please beware! The owner of this curtain cum blind shop name James cheated me of my money!
Took my deposit of 80% and fail to deliver my outdoor ziptrack! I’m now lost as I’m not sure what I should do to get my back my money!
Summary of case as below:
1) Deposit paid in Feb 2020 to engaged him to do Balcony blind, study bed room blind, kid bed room blind, mbr curtain!
2) no sound no picture until I have to keep chasing him and ask him when he will come and install
3) April , finally came and install study and kid room blind but colour was wrong ( I closed 1 eyes as I have waited long enough ) At the same time, my outdoor ziptrack was being delayed repeatedly.
4) End April, the frame in the kid room fell off and almost hit my son who was napping in the room. He show no signs of guilt when I told him about it
5) Aug, the curtain frame in my mbr fell off too
6) Sept, we give up chasing him for the outdoor ziptrack and asked for a refund.
7) He promised numerous times that he will refund but of Cos he did not do so
8 ) Have logged a police report , take it up to CASE
9) File a claim against him in small claims tribunal and he did not turn up. StateCourt awarded me With the rightful amount owned to me ( but I know he will not return me the money)
10) all these while, he did not bother to reply my text and answer my callPlease dear members of complaint Singapore , tell me what should I do now.It’s not only a matter of money, but the principal as well. Why should I allow him to get away with my money just like that?
Update : Realise I’m not the only one who got these experience from James ( Rich Work Trading, Secret Furnish , Secret Shades , apparently he owns a few firms and have several contact numbers )Other FB users have come forward and shared their unpleasant experience with me too )
