Researchers have confirmed that the Wuhan Corona Virus can be transmitted through surfaces from a person that is infected with the virus.
China Diseases Control and Prevention Center found that the Coronavirus was found on a door handle in the home of an infected patient. The Chinese media also stated that the virus can survive on surfaces for several hours.
There have been local media reports(Not Us) stating there is no reason to avoid places of those that have been infected. More research should have been done before releasing such information to the public.
So avoid or no need to avoid the places? It’s better to be safe than sorry.
An example would be, a person with Corona Virus sneeze or cough while covering the mouth with the palm and followed by opening a door, turning the lights on or pressing a button in the lift.
How to fight?
Researchers state that the way to fight is by washing hands and staying away from people that are sick.
Believe it or not, regular hand washing can reduce the risk of getting sick.
