CORONAVIRUS: NUS TERMINATES EXCHANGE STUDENT AFTER PROVIDING FALSE TRAVEL RECORDS

According to NUS, An exchange student at the National University of Singapore terminated the exchange program and returned home early due to breach of absence leave.

Associate Professor Liang Jing, director of the National University Singapore Student Affairs Office, said on the National University website on Saturday (7th) that the female student had violated her absence and had made false travel records. As a result, the school terminated her exchange program and students will return to her university.

The NUS has punished the female student and has reported the incident to the student’s university.

“An international exchange student had breached her LOA and made a false travel declaration. The Board of Discipline has terminated her Student Exchange Programme with NUS and she will return to her home university. “

“She has been officially reprimanded and a report sent to her home university.”
