COVID-19: 2 MORE PEOPLE DEAD, 5 MORE CLUSTERS, 447 NEW CASES IN SINGAPORE

According to the Ministry of Health, there are two more death cases.

One died from complications from COVID-19 while the other death is under investigations.

447 cases, bringing Singapore total to 17,548.

2 Deaths Case (Total at 17)

76-year-old Singaporean ha died from complications due to the coronavirus on 1st May 2020. He was warded at Changi General Hospital.

47-year-old Bangladeshi worker died on 1 May 2020, he was tested positive for Coronavirus AFTER his death.

The authorities are investigating the cause of death

Here are 5 new clusters

  • Three of the newly confirmed cases are linked to one previous case to form a new cluster at 5 Neythal Road.
  • One of the newly confirmed cases is linked to 14 previous cases to form a new cluster at 34 Sungei Kadut Loop.
  • Two of the newly confirmed cases are linked to four previous cases to form a new cluster at 16 Tuas Avenue 3.
  • Two of the newly confirmed cases are linked to 129 previous cases to form a new cluster at 21 Tuas View Square.
  • Six of the newly confirmed cases are linked to nine previous cases to form a new cluster at 2 Tuas South Street 2.
