The patient was case 703. She is a 58-year-old female Singaporean citizen. She was tested positive for COVID-19 on the 26 Mar 2020, after a trip back from Europe. She was by far the youngest among those who had passed on due to the virus.

According to the daughter of the patient, they had received a call from the doctor informing her that the patient was virus-free one week before her passing. However, they were later informed that the patient’s condition has worsened.
Among the family, the patient’s husband and two sons are tested positive with COVID-19 as well. All three of them were treated in Ng Teng Feng Hospital and had recovered and discharged from the hospital.
