On the morning of November 14, a 41-year-old male driver found himself involved in a multi-vehicle crash involving 2 other lorries, sparking immediate responses from the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), according to TODAY.

What happened?

The accident occurred just after 7 am along Upper Thomson Road towards Sembawang Road. The victim, a 41-year-old man, was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Additionally, a 54-year-old male lorry driver sustained minor injuries but opted not to go to the hospital, showcasing varying degrees of impact on individuals involved.

The incident was captured in a six-second TikTok video by user “shinaemily,” providing a glimpse into the chaotic aftermath.

Two tyres of differing sizes were seen on the road, among the scattered cartons of eggs crasked on the road, among other debris.

The quick response from both the police and the SCDF played a pivotal role in managing the aftermath of the accident. Ongoing police investigations seek to uncover the circumstances leading to the collision, shedding light on potential contributing factors.

Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning as a 43-year-old driver lost his life in a harrowing accident at the junction of Benoi Road and Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, according to The Straits Times.

The man ended up being trapped under his lorry following a crash with a car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

At approximately 8:25 am, the police were alerted to a collision that took place at the aforementioned junction. The collision involved a lorry and a car, leading to a tragic outcome for the lorry driver.

Despite prompt intervention by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the 43-year-old driver could not be saved. SCDF had to employ specialized rescue equipment to extricate him from under the overturned lorry and he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A video circulating on Telegram captured the aftermath, portraying a scene of chaos with a damaged car in the middle of the junction and a tipped-over lorry, blocking a two-lane road.

Another 52-year-old male car driver was conveyed to the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital conscious, and at the time of writing, police investigations are currently underway.
