A food delivery rider on a bicycle was seen speeding across a very busy traffic junction along Woodlands, with little regard for his own safety or the safety of the other motorists on the road.
The incident took place on 25 February at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 3 and Woodlands Avenue 5, and was shared by SG Road Vigilante on Facebook on Sunday (19 March) and was captured on the dashcam of a car that was waiting at the traffic light.
The video begins with a few cars waiting at the traffic junction for the traffic light to turn green, and at the time the arrow for turning right was also red.
A food delivery rider then zooms into the video frame as he stretched out his legs while speeding ahead and almost riding into a motorcycle, as well as almost being run over by an SUV who had to jam brake to avoid hitting him.
Undeterred by the almost-accidents, the cyclist continued riding on and turned right, blatantly ignoring the traffic light’s turn right arrow that was still red at the time.
Also, the cyclist didn’t appear to be wearing a helmet at the time, riding his bicycle on the road.

Words of fairness, a few rotten apples does not means all apples are rotten. Likewise for all motorised vehicles. Government is the real issue here
