A Facebook user, Kidd Khidir, shared a video of an encounter with an unruly and rude driver as he was driving out of a HDB carpark at Tampines.
In the video, he described that he was driving out of the carpark to send his kids to school, with a Honda Vezel following behind him.
He noted that there was “nothing suspicious” about the vehicle, but as he was approaching the carpark gantry, the Honda got very close to his car and honked at him just as the gantry’s barrier was rising.
The Honda then sped up and tried to squeeze past his car, and Khidir said that the driver nearly collided and hit the right side of his car.
The Honda driver then winded down his window and flashed a middle finger at him, scolding him “f- you”.
Khidir shared that his children were scared, shocked and traumatized; as the Honda driver’s son in the passenger seat remained quiet as though it was normal”.
At the end of the video, Khidir alleged that the driver of the Honda came back to look for his car, and he was not sure what the driver was trying to do.
