A video clip from local TV show Crimewatch caught the attention of a global online influencer Saint Hoax and it was turned into a meme.
The video then went viral, garnering views from audiences worldwide, with the video amassing over 107.3k views in 4 days.
The video clip was from an episode that aired back in 2013 titled “Gang Clash” and shows two teenage girls who are gang members getting into an argument.
The video apparently went viral because of the cringe dialogue and unintentional over-acting, with parodies and spin-offs being made by many users on TikTok.
