In a shocking tell-all interview with Piers Morgan, Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo claims that he is being forced out of the club by the United hierarchy, including manager Erik Ten Hag.
He said that he is being forced out of the club by “not only the coach, but another 2 or 3 guys around the club, I feel betrayed”.
He added that “I felt some people don’t want me here, not just this year but last year too.”
On his relationship with current United boss Erik Ten Hag, Ronaldo said that “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t respect me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
He also shed light on an incident when his daughter was sent to the hospital back in July, revealing that Man United doubted his story and showed a lack of empathy when he didn’t arrive for pre-season training on time as a result of his daughter’s hospitalisation.
Ronaldo also said that the progress that the club has made since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement has been “zero,” adding that he saw “no evolution in the club”.
