
Facebook user Crystal Wong Yi Jin took to Facebook to voice her unhappiness when dealing with Airasia’s customer service. She was promised a cash refund for her cancelled flight, but was left hanging for close to 3 months without any response.

Here is what she stated in her post.
“My flight got cancelled in March due to Covid. Opted for cash refund instead of credits. They told me that it will take longer than usual due to the high volume of customers. Sure. I waited for 4 months. Today received an email from them saying that they can’t refund me in cash, they will refund me in credits instead. What for did I wait?

Okay fine, I shall just get the credits then. I tried to talk to the AVA for the credit refund. But they say they couldn’t help me. And recommend me to speak to their staff via live chat. Waited for an hour on whatsapp to speak to their staff. But the convo ended in 10min. What kind of service is this? AirAsia“
