In the last two weeks, two monkeys which belong to the macaques species have been seen at Jurong West, where several members of the public have highlighted that they have seen them in the vicinity.

They have been seen at the road side and also in the residential estate of Jurong West Street 65.
They were even seen in the playground. A member of the public even stated that a child tried to disturb the monkey but was chased by it instead.
Acres have responded by asking the public not to feed the animals.
