CYCLIST FINED $300 FOR SPEEDING, RIDE AT 27KM/H

A man was issued a fine from N Parks (National Park) for cycling at 27km/h at the rail corridor (south). The man posted the fine on Facebook stating that he has received a fine of $300!

In the letter it stated that the man rode in excess of 17km/h which exceeded the limit of 10km/h.

Sure or not?

Previously it was verified that at certain locations in Singapore there is a limit for riding bicycles.

An email was also sent by a netizen in July to verify the fine and N parks replied that the speed limit is 10km/h.
