A motorcyclist shared an incident that happened on the road when a cyclist suddenly cut across him dangerously on the road and almost caused an accident.

Here is his story:
“Was approaching the filter to expressway when this cyclist suddenly rode alongside and decided to cut in-front to cross the road.
Not forgetting that vehicles can be also approaching from motorcyclist right-hand lane, which can hit bicyclists.
Rather the bicyclist should have used the crossing just ahead.

Under the RTA, it is an offence to NOT use a crossing within 50 meters of a junction or zebra crossing available.
Happened on 01/12/21 @ 1500hrs, Paya Lebar Road towards PIE Changi.”
