DBS Bank the largest bank in South-East Asia is set to create more than 2000 jobs in Singapore. DBS is committed in helping the Singapore job market which is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During this period, many businesses are resorting to pay cuts and put employees on no-pay leaves to ensure their survival.
In a press release, DBS mentioned that out of the 2000 people 1000 of them are a mixture of graduate programmes and specialised roles for professionals. Another 1000 of this opportunity are other roles across the bank in Singapore. As DBS is looking to transforming the bank into a digital bank, more resource is spent on training and hiring of professionals from the IT industry.
