A body was found yesterday morning (5 October) at the Lower Seletar Reservoir Park.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the incident that same morning and water rescue assistance was commenced.
The body of the deceased was found following an underwater search by the SCDF, about 20 meters away from the shore.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the SCDF.
The SCDF confirmed that they received a call for water rescue assistance on 5 Cotober at about 6.25am, as Lower Seletar Reservoir Park.
However, upon the arrival of the officers, there were no sign of the person who required the rescue, and divers from the DART team were then deployed to commence an underwater search.
A body was subsequently retrieved about 20 metres form the shore and pronounced dead at the scene.
