DELIVERY RIDER DIED IN ACCIDENT, MOTORCYCLIST ALLEGEDLY FLED THE SCENE

A 54-year-old delivery rider who was riding his Personal Mobility Device (PMD), has died following an accident involving a motorcycle.

The accident took place on 13 May at about 11pm, along Serangoon Road heading towards Upper Serangoon Road.

The man, who was wearing his delivery uniform at the time of the accident, was unconscious when being conveyed to tTan Tock Seng Hospital.

According to the police, he later succumbed to his injuries and died.

According to Shin Min Daily News, the man was in a coma before his death, and that the motorcyclist had allegedly fled the scene after the accident.
