I’ve known my friend, let’s call Jack or Robert or whatever, for as long as I can remember. He’s always been a bit of a desperate man, constantly searching for love and companionship. And when he heard that the new pub in town had hired a beautiful girl as their hostess, he was determined to meet her.
Every day, Jack would wait outside the pub, timing his arrival perfectly as the hostess, ended her shift. He would offer to send her home, buy her dinner, anything to get her attention. But she always politely declined, saying she had plans with friends or family.
But Jack was persistent. He would find out her schedule and show up at the pub, pretending to just be there for a drink, but really he was just waiting for her to finish her shift. He would try to strike up conversations with her, but she always seemed uncomfortable and would quickly excuse herself.

After weeks of this routine, I finally convinced Jack to give up on her I told him that his actions were not only creepy, but they were also driving her away. He never listened and always wait for her outside the pub.
But the damage was already done. The pub girls had caught wind of Jack’s persistent behavior and had even reported him to the pub’s manager. Jack was eventually banned from the pub.
In his desperate attempt to find love, he sought his solution from temples and superstition but ended up losing money to scams.
