Dr Wee Tong Boo, 69, who was cleared of sexual assault may face disciplinary action from the Singapore Medical Council.

Dr Wee who licked his fingers before penetrating his patient was cleared of sexual assault and his conviction was overturned by the Court of Appeal after the High Court Sentenced him to 10 years jail.
“As deliberations are presently under way on whether disciplinary proceedings are to be brought against Dr Wee, the SMC seeks the public’s understanding that it is unable to comment at this juncture so as to avoid prejudicing any such proceedings,” the SMC added.
