Yesterday l was the GOH at an event organised by The Future of Singapore. It was at the Nuss guild house .It was a lively two and a half hour session especially the Q &A where many questions were asked. What is my future role in opposition politics ?
Will l being forming a new political party and what advice will l give to potential aspiring politicians.
l told them l will keep my options open.As of now l will not be joining any opposition party or forming a new political party.
However, l am prepared to be of assistance to people who are interested. But these people must have their hearts in the right place…country before self.
I am prepared to mentor these Singaporeans by way of advising, teaching and sharing my political experiences.
I also detailed some issues that will affect the next GE and how how best to manage them early.
Also the last PE revealed how Singaporeans lost their right to vote when there was no election. This is a serious loss.
lt was an awakening for many and this will weigh on their minds for a long time.
At the end of the day what we hope for our people is a fairer and more compassionate Singapore
