With effect from 1 Dec 2017, SCDF ambulances will be exempted from Section 120(3) of the Road Traffic Act, which prohibits the running of red lights.

When you are driving on the road and hear the siren from an emergency ambulance near a road junction, slow down and let it pass even if you have the right of way.
Drive with a heart, give way to emergency ambulances.
