A video was recently uploaded to Road.sg Facebook page showing a driver causing an accident after failing to check blindspot before switching lane.

The incident happened along CTE on 09 Jan 2021. It can be seen from the video that the driver switches lane immediately after signalling and hit the motorcyclist who was beside the car.
The impact has caused the motorcyclist to lost his balance and fall to the ground. Sparks were seen flying when the motorcycle hit the ground.
