A hit and run accident hapeend on 10 April at about 12.48pm, at Yishun Central, involving a Honda Shuttle.
The two cars were seen making a left turn, with the Honda failing to keep inside its lane and hitting the camcar.
The driver of the camcar then winded down his window and directed the driver to follow him to stop somewhere with lesser traffic, but the Honda then drove away.
Here is what the driver said

He was initially behind me, several seconds of hesitation later, #SMD2286D proceeded past the junction. Due to the red light, camcar was unable to catch up.
Potential penalties
It is a punishable offence to leave the scene of an accident, which is considered a hit-and-run – upon conviction, first-time offenders face a fine of up to $3,000 or a jail term of up to 12 months.
