A video emerged on social media recently showing the driver of a Volkswagen Jetta cruising on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on 15 January 2022 at approximately 2013 hours.
While cruising, the driver can be seen steering to the right even though it was on the first lane of the expressway.
It subsequently crossed into the road shoulder before smashing into the road diver where it then lost control of the vehicle.
After losing control, the Volkswagen can be seen swerving three lanes to the left due to the impact which resulted in it being involved in a second collision with a Prime Mover.
Under the circumstances in which the driver controlled the vehicle which resulted in the accident, we do not know for sure which law under the road traffic act did the driver flouted.
